A Star Here and a Star There.
The first whisper of stars is a faint thing
A candle sound, too far away to read by
The first whisper of stars is a candle sound
Those faraway stars that rise and give themselves airs
A star here and a star there
The first whisper of stars is that faint thing
That candle sound too far away to read by
When you walk outside leaving the door ajar
And smell the various Danks of Dusk
And a star here
And a star there
You look outside leaving the door ajar
And one of those stars bring you their troubles
And a star
Those deafmute stars
Trying to make you hear who they once were
A star
A star here
A star there from [?]
And here and there a start of a star
Its like blowing on a ring of cinders

And smell the various Danks of Dust
And here and there
The start of a star

He sees his soul growing visible and vanishing just above the house
He sees his soul tilted about the house
His opponents' selves hanging and flattering out there in the taken for granted air
In various shapes above the house
A star
He sees a star here and a star there
Here and there
A star
[?]
There flies that man they call the moon
This [?] man
His body almost gold
Star
There he flies amongst the stars
That deafmute man
Burdened with making signs amongst those first faint stars
The first whisper of stars
They're [?]
The first whisper of stars is a faint thing
And I [?]
