Hi Jean Francois,
I received your letter and you have a couple options to repair your T4 mid-range panel.
1. Repair kits are $40 and include everything you need to rewire your panel EXCEPT the glue. We can’t ship the glue in the winter here because it will freeze and become unusable.
If you wait until spring, you can buy the complete kit with glue for $60. The glue is called 3M 30NF and contains anti UV components.
2. If you would like to send in your panel for repair, our costs would be around $500-$600 or so, not including shipping. I quoted a single panel shipping from us to you at about $650. Shipping to us may be a bit cheaper but you’ll have to investigate that on your end.
Also, you asked if there is a way to stabilize oxidation of the wires. There’s not an easy way. You could theoretically clean oxidation with acetone but you run the risk of removing all the glue and having to rewire everything from scratch.
If you would like covers, they’re $34/each and come in black, grey, and off-white.
Regards,
Brennan
