Pentode
The sound character of amplifier 10 is old-fashioned warm, dynamic and loud. This is easy listening with lots of space. But to be honest, the amp is better suited as a guitar amplifier because not all details can be clearly noticed. Also the mild overload of this amp makes it the best dark brown bluesy session amplifier.
The measurements contain many interesting details. For instance the wide –3dB frequency range. Also impressive is the full power lowest frequency of 14 Hz, where the large core of the OPT is at the edge of saturation. The damping factor is negligible; this is current drive and no voltage drive! This amp reacts very strong on the frequency dependant impedance of the loudspeaker. The warm sound character is understandable now.

Ultra linéaire
This local feedback totally changes the subjective character of the amplifier. The sound is cleaner than with amplifier 10 and less warm, details are much more clear. The power and frequency range are comparable to amplifier 10. The damping factor is higher; the loudspeaker is better under control and there is less reaction to its impedance curve. This explains why amplifier 11 has more control, delivering a tighter bass.

Triode
The sound of amplifier12 differs much from amplifiers 10 and 11. All details are extremely clear, the spatial resolution is large, resulting in a wide and deep and detailed sound stage. Distortion is absent while there is no coloration due to the larger damping factor.
However, the measurements show that the output power has dropped from 28 to14 Watts.

Super triode
The sound character of amplifier15 is very open with lots of space and details. This is a real high quality high end amplifier. All instruments and voices are placed holographically in the sound stage with the right dimensions. The space between the instruments is not empty, but breathes the acoustic information of the environment. The deep and very well controlled low frequency reproduction is fantastic with many details. This dynamic reproduction allows you to listen deep into the acoustics of the recording. The details are clean and pure; they really contain the "emotional content" of the art of the human artists.

Ceci bien sur en testant les modes "bruts" sans aucune CR globale de compensation
Cela peut changer beaucoup de choses

Une combinaison d'UL et de contre réaction par la cathode
VDV ne l'a pas inventé
Par contre il a inventé le nom  :cool:
